Ok seriosly I think that the Sonics should move to Kansas City because it was total crap on how the Kings went to Sacramento, California has enough teams they didnt need the kings if the NBA will start a new franchise, fine everyone is happy but KC needs and wants a team. And for losing our first franchise they get Kevin Durant, sounds fair.

    Ever been to KC?

One of the ugliest towns I ever been to. It's one big ghetto and everyone's broke, just like Kansas itself.

Seattle would goto a part of the country moving UP, not DOWN.

    ps- nice miss-leading le

    Why not the Clippers?
    1) They are used to moving around.
    2) They wouldn't have to share an arena with another team and would have a whole city to themselves B-ball wise.
    3) Why not OKC instead?

Agreed. I wonder of the Clips will ever realize they have about 0.9 percent of LA fans if that, on top of playing in an arena with 390598340598 Lakers banners. That makes me feel embarrassed for them, sheesh.

    OKC Clips sound good.

We know Vegas will get a team so why not move the Sonics there? Las Vegas Supersonics!

    Yuck.

The Missouri side is the run-down part. The Kansas suburbs are affluent.

Really? Which parts exactly because I spent a 4 day weekend there in a basketball tourny 3 years ago. I don't know exactly what side we were on either but it was nasty.

The inner city on both sides sucks. The Overland Park/Shawnee area is affluent. The Missouri side is pretty much hit-and-miss.

Yep. Johnson County especially is extremely affluent. I went to school just outside of Overland Park, and it's not even in the same universe as downtown KC Missouri. Johnson County folks are the main ones who pile in to Arrow Head stadium every Sunday, and are likely to be the ones to support the Sonics. The people are huge sports fans, and a Bball team would be extremely well supported IMO. The whole area is full of Jayhawk fans as it is, and they love their basketball. The population growth in the last 10 years is amazing too.

I'm hoping KC is the destination of the Sonics. It would be great for the area, and for the NBA.

Kansas City isnt so bad (in Missouri at least), it looks better than the metro area in San Antonio.

KC was in the west finals in 1981 against moses and houston lost in 5. NBA tv is good unless they are showing that wnba garbage. Sam Lacey, Scott wedman, and Phil Ford. too bad Birdsong got injured.
