You guys working on any PSA or BGS sets? I'm about 20% in on 1974 Topps (Gervin Rookie Year) PSA 8's or better and about 20% in on 1988 Fleer PSA 9's or better. I just started Topps 1969 the big white ones but I only have a couple.

    Tangent:

Are there any local (SA) companies that appraise the quality of sports cards? i.e. give them a PSA value? or whatever the that means. Sitting on a ton of cards collected since youth and in today's grading system I am completely lost. Most of my cards are 60's 70's and 80's baseball.

I hate how people tell you that baseball cards are worthless, sell sell sell.
then these big buyers buy and save for selling in 2020. doing the exact opposite.

In 2025 and beyond those 1990 Fleer cards , 35 years old+ will be worth a good fortune, look at anything from the 50's and early 60's , their prices have increased obviously because you cant put a 5 cent price on anything that old, solely because of their age and vintage appeal.

Yea the 90's mass produced cards but the sheer age of these cards say 30 years from their release and beyond will bring in good $ for even the common cards.

The worst is when I see full collections of cards/comics being dumped at goodwill and other places from people that passed away.

If your husband or son left comics or cards behind, dont give them away. Save them, give them to the nephew to save and collect, start the process again.

The market is down but like anything else its controlled by the wealthy.

now back to your regular programming.
