Haven't lost it on Lackland (yet) but just had one loud bang that was pretty close.
Power has gone out here in my dorm during the last few big storms for about 4 minutes or less.
Lost ours for over an hour. It just came back on a few minutes ago.

Oddly enough, we lose it just about everytime it thunders above a whisper ... but not today.
Funny, you complain about losing it for over an hour, and here, I've lost it for a day or 2 during thunderstorms and ice storms.
