Vernon Maxwell Redux?

I hope the trade of Scola and Butler to division rival Houston does not come back to haunt us like when we sold Vernon Maxwell to the Rockets. Bob Bass sold Maxwell for a paltry $50,000 to Houston. The transaction so infuriated Maxwell, that he always played well against us and torched us many times.

I hope the same does not hold true of Butler and Scola. I just do not understand trading these two yung players to a divisional rival. Is this a precusor to the return of the bumbling Bob Bass days?
