Wish him well and can't wait to see how he does against the Spurs. Its going to be interesting.

Scola is on the verge of signing with the Rockets.

The Rockets still have to sign Scola and according to his agent, George Bass, that could happen within a few days.
"I think the contract will come together very quickly and I see it coming together by this weekend or early next week," Bass said in an interview with FOX 26 Sports.
NBA sources told FOX 26 Friday that the Rockets already have the wheels in motion for Scola to take a physical in Buenos Aires once a contract agreement is reached.
"Our whole (agency) group is excited about getting Luis traded to Houston." Bass said.

I hope that too.A dream come true for Luis.
Too bad I was hoping to see him play in a spur uniform.
Spurs should try defending him with Melvin Ely - oh wait, he's gone.
Odd how fast Scola is signed when his rights end up with another club.
Scola's agent has had this contract prepared for over two years now.
Yeah, I wonder how long Scola has been willing to sign for 3 years, $10 mil or so.
I'm interested to see how much Houston gives him
For as long as the Spurs have been lying about it.
Not too odd when you look at the position and the roster. The Rockets desperately needed a change at PF. They were getting nothing out of that position. They may throw big money at him to outbid Tau since they're desperate. How that will affect their ability to sign other players is a big question over here in Houston although most folks are happy about Scola.
The Spurs on the other hand have a pretty good player who seems to be entrenched there for the next few years and an expensive Scola as backup wasn't really in their plans it looks like.
How much was Bonner's contract?
Iīve been saying over and over that, the spurs have been telling about Luis.
They just didnīt wanna pay him 3 M p/year in his first contract,so they excused them self talking about the player.
ing cheap mother ers.

This isnīt about being argentinian or not,itīs about the spurs getting worse and older every ing year.
Golly, so far getting worse and older every ing year has meant three championships in five years and a sweep in the last Finals.

Scola is better than at least 6 of the Spurs currently under guaranteed contract. Wake the up.
I really hope so.
Cause youve already seen his game in the NBA right?
Would everybody stop arguing. We have $7 mil and and the rest of the off season to fill in a spot. What's done is done. Can we please move on!!
He fricking played just fine against Team USA. WTF?
That was the best team the US could field and he was a star.
