sucks that it's not online at least
The game started 15 minutes ago. This is the second game the Spurs are playing in the Rocky Mountain Revue. And again, the game isn't being shown on TV or online.
We'll most likely have to wait until the boxscore comes out late tonight to get any type of update. The good news is the game will likely be replayed sometime next week on NBAtv.

damn, I was hoping to see how Acie did against our ty summer league team.
Marcus stunk it up again
Interesting that Sanikidze started but didn't play a lot of minutes. James White also didn't play much ... and it doesn't look like he did much. Marcus Williams came off the bench and he put up the kind of line we've come to expect from him.
Without Butler, this team has no hope.
Can someone post the boxscore? I don't have Adobe Acrobat Reader.
PDF's don't copy pretty, but

Watson again screwed us over. 2 assists in 33 minutes.
White had 8 points in about 13 minutes. Not so bad.
Marcus Williams saw about 28 minutes and had 7 points, 5 turnovers, 2 steals, and 3 rebounds. Typical.
Sanikidze saw about 10 minutes and had 3 points and 2 rebounds. I don't what's Newman's problem with Sanikidze. We should be seeing a lot more of him than we are.
__________________________________________________ __
Shelden Williams owned our ass with 23 points and 11 rebounds.
Acie Law IV had 9 points and 5 assists.
Devin Green, whoever that is, had 12 points.
Al Horford had 9 points and 9 rebounds.
Good for Acie Law -- my Aggie buddy ! Hope he does well this upcoming season.

Wasn't Pop supposed to go up to the RMR for the main purpose of watching James White? I think I read that in a Ludden article...
Maybe he made everyone nervous...
Looking at the box...the Hawks d'ed up on them. I think I saw Watson only took 3 shots in 30 mins or something...had to be some serious d being played on them.
It might make sense to sign Sanikidze to a contract and let him spend a season on IR with the Toros while on some kind of strength training program. But then the Spurs wouldn't have the 'standard' 1, 2/3, and 4/5 on IR.
by the way, someone I know went to the game and did a report afterwards said that White and Sanikidze both went down injured in the first half; White's injury looked like an ankle sprain and he couldn't tell what injury Sanikidze had, so that is why they started the game but didn't play many minutes
I haven't seen Pop at either RMR game yet.
James White and Sanikidze both hurt their ankles in the 2nd quarter and left the game and did not come back.
Langford played pretty good today. He got to the rim several times, drew contact and finished.
Sheldon Williams of the Hawks destroyed the Spurs bigs down low and out to about 12 feet. Williams looked really good. He has a good stroke for a big man.
Prior to getting hurt, white looked good along with Sanikidze.
Marcus Williams didn't have a strong game, but he did hit a few long range jumpers with that very awkward shot that he has...kinda reminds me of Kenny smith's sideways rotation shot. Chip is REALLY going to have to work with Williams to get him to become a decent shooter.
Other than Sheldon Williams I was really impressed by former Gonaga player Derek Ravio of the Hawks. He has a really nice shot and seems to run the point well. He doesn't force anything, but rather takes what the defense gives him...he hit several 3's today...very pure I might add.
I have a few pics from the game that I will post tomorrow.
Thanks for the report.![]()
Nice work, callo1.
The Spurs have tomorrow off. Hopefully White and Sanikidze can find their way back onto the court before the end of summer league. They are both fighting for a roster spot at this point.
Jackie Butler had 10 points, three rebounds, one assist and a block in 13 minutes today. For the Rockets.
No word if the $6M Holt made by giving him and Scola away to a divisional rival is scheduled to suit up for the Spurs next summer league game.

Swingman James White, who appeared in six games as a rookie for San Antonio last season, was limited to 13 minutes because of a strained tendon in his foot. He is listed as "day-to-day." Free agent Marcellus Sommerville, who spent last season playing in Hungry and France, had his arm in a sling after getting elbowed by Williams and sustaining a left shoulder contusion. The forward from Bradley exited after hitting just 1-of-6 from the field in 12 minutes, and also is listed as "day-to-day."
Then there was swingman Viktor Sanikidze, who played fewer than 10 minutes against the Hawks because a sprained ankle. His Revue is done, but it's not because of the ankle. The 2004 second-round draft choice, who never has played in the NBA, was planning to return anyway after Saturday's game to his team in the Republic of Georgia.
Sanikidze back in georgia should be related with the Georgian NT.
Where is Robertjas? (sp)
Robertas Javtokas has started today the training camp with the lithuanian NT for the 2007 euro in Spain.
He shouldn't be back with Panathinaikos next year but nothing is sure for the moment.
The $6M made $3000 that night in Holt's portfolio.![]()
That $6mil stays in shape
