Time for the fetus murder supporters to cry. This is only the second thing Gov. Blanco did right (in my opinion) since announcing she won't run for re-election.

Not that this matters much now since it is a federal law too, but it would matter is congress changes the law, or another court case is successful against it.

State fines are $1,000 to $10,000 and penalties are 1 year to 10 year jail sentences.

There is a provision if the mother life is in danger, but not for the mothers health.

It places the mother's life first, then the fetus' life, then the mother's "health".
As to whether this health endangerment could lead to a life endangerment, the wording is too ambiguious and would be fought in a court, leading to your first question.

Actually, the 108th Congress under president Bush already banned the procedure. It is now Public Law 108-105. Have to go out of country now for the disgusting evil procedure.
