The vinyl thread was fun, so I thought we could do this.
I've got lots, a few to start:
Springsteen: Born In The USA and Tunnel Of Love Tours
Rod Stewart and Faces (with Ron Wood) 1974
U2: Joshua Tree
Tom Petty: saw him dozens of times, all but one show were great
Aerosmith: saw them lots also, they usually put on a good show, the tour with Guns N Roses was great
Paul Simon: Graceland (what a great show that was)
Peter Frampton: Tour he recorded "Comes Alive" on
A few others that stand out: Neil Young, Elton John, Allman Brothers and Gregg Allman solo, Pink Floyd, Carlos Santana, The Eagles...
Anyone got some?

God damn, you've been to some badass concerts!!!!!!!!
I envy you.
Garth Brooks
It gets worse.
I was in the record business in Southern California for years.
Most of the shows I went to were with Record Label tickets (free) and the best seats in the house.
And usually backstage for the "Meet and Greet."
(I told you it got worse!)
Damn I hate you.
I've been trying to see U2 for over 20 years and something always comes up.
My favs were probably:
Police
Pink Floyd
Prince
Luther vandross
Queen
i have been to very very very few concerts but I went to see 311 early this month and it was fantastic!! I'll be seeing Alice in Chains in September and I can't wait for that![]()
The Police were great when I saw them. I haven't seen this reunion tour.
Sting was fantastic on his solo "Dream of the Blue Turtles" tour.
Blink 182. right when we walked in there was a HUGE sign on stage lit up that said . it was a hilarious. i think they told jokes more than they sang.
You suck.
I hate your life.
You are one lucky dude.
Did I scare you all away?![]()
I'm sorry. It was another lifetime ago. I was in my 20's, new to California and I got incredibly lucky in landing a great job.![]()
I had the time of my life for 10 years, then moved on to kids and all the joy that comes with them.
I had fun talking vinyl and it got me remembering those concert days.
Anyone else got concerts they loved?
It goes to prove that if you go after what you love you can make it happen.
I loved music. I got a part time job in a record store in college and it grew from that.
"If you see a chance take it."- Steve Winwood
I have ALWAYS regretted that.
And, now it's a bit too late.
Alcohol and pot raped me.
Tool on the 2nd leg of the Lateralus Tour in San Antonio.
NIN at smirnoff in Dallas last June was amazing
Ministry in Ft Worth May 06was the loudest concert I've ever been too, too much low end but great show
KMFDM at Emo's October 06 was fun, got to meet Sascha.
Your that desperate for attention that you have to post about a thread you started in someone else's thread about concerts??
Little Kicker, does mommy not love you enough??
Still sad that daddy left when you were 4??
You're pathetic.
I've been to a lot, but the very best was to Aerosmith at Retama Park .... in the field where the Verizon amphitheater is now. That concert was amazing.![]()
I went to an Aerosmith concert at Retama Park about seven years ago, back when they had the hit "Pink".
Was that the same concert you went to?
lucky.. I'd love to see NIN
Man, I've been to so many concerts. One of my favorites was in Austin's Austin Music Hall where I saw Ozzy...just Ozzy. No opening act. It was his first concert back from "retirement". It was a surprise show because I remember they advertised it on a Sunday...tickets went on sale that Monday and the show was that Saturday.
It was a great show.
