Thanks.
Javtokas was still under contract with Panatinaikos for one year. Dynamo Moscow will pay a buyout to Panatinaikos and sign Javtokas to a 2 years contract.
Next year, Javtokas will play the russian league and the ULEB cup.

Good. The Spurs don't need a player on their team who is threatened by Francisco Elson.
adios lithuanian puss
Well, there should be no more talk of Scola and Javtokas on the Spurs. People can move their focus onto guessing when Mahinmi, Sandkidze, and Splitter might join the team. Only problem, Viktor was a second round pick.![]()
I'd venture a guess more than likely all three will be on the team next year.
I miss Rasho...no one rode the bench better during championship runs. It's just not the same winning a championship without him ;(
Dynamo better give him some playing time.![]()
The Lithuanian version of Scola.
I really thought his 2 points and 1 board a game could help us too.
Bwahaha.
so our international draft picks which look good, now looks like we are losing creditbility with our drafting and how we manage them
Can't believe some people still think Javtokas can play in NBA.![]()
Draft and Stash©.
Nothing goes together better in the whole wide world.
Don't know. Dynamo is a serious Euroleague team (with good management), and they thought enough of Javtokas to buy him out of his contract with Panathaikos and sign him to a new 2 year deal...
Javtokas is leaving Panathinaikos because his salary(2$/year) wad unrelated to his offer!
He is a good athletic player with great blocking and dunking skills but in set game, witch is played in Europe(and sometimes by Spurs),he shows low basketball IQ!
A little update :
Javtokas signing with Dynamo is now official.
His salary should be €1.5M per year.
He has signed a two years contract but he has an opt-out clause for the NBA at the end of the first year. I don't know if he should pay a buyout to exercise his opt-out clause.
It's quite interesting to notice that Javtokas still thinks at the nba. If he has a good season in russian league and ULEB cup, he will maybe try again to go in nba next summer.
I lost all interest after he took more money to stay in Europe after the Spurs worked so hard to get back into playing form.
Javtokas leaves Panathinaikos because he need play more. In the Final Four Euroleague, all games he played 5-8'. Talking of talent, he doesn't have this.
