I have to say its extremely hard to choose for me, I loved the Tears for Fears version but Michael Andrews made it such a haunting badass song, its hard to choose.

Ya, it was on Donnie Darko, but it was out before the move. I just mentioned Gears of War because that commercial was played alot during the playoffs. (Maybe it was right before the playoffs, all I know is it was played alot).

There was a punk cover of it I forgot who it was by but I liked it because I do enjoy screaming when it comes to a song called Mad World.

Defiantly Gary Jules, its funny a lot of my friends didn't give recognition to his version or for that matter the song until they saw the GoW commercial such a perfect song for the game depressing and sad and lets not forget about Michael Andrews who gives a haunting almost hopeful tune
