I cannot post attachments/ pictures on board

First let me say that I am computer literate and understand how to cut and paste however I cannot figure out how to do it here on Spurs Talk. I would like to occasionally post a picture or maybe a part of a video but I cannot get it done. Any help?

You need to host your pictures. Try photobucket or imageshack for free hosting.

When you have a url, just do this:

[img] url [/img]

That would be a hackers dream, wouldnt it?

You cant link files directly from your computer because in order to do that the server (in this case SpursTalk) has to upload and host that image.

Thats why every forum in the world worth their salt disables the feature. Too easy to hack.

You can't post attachments because no one in the forum can do that - that function is off. However, you can post images and clips by following the instructions others gave you above. You just need to have them host and then put the [img] [/img] around the url.
