If the series was fixed, the Jazz come out the biggest losers. They were 3-1 vs Phoenix this year. They would have sent the S0ns packing after 5 games.
This is almost as gay as that one time Jeff tried to say that the Spurs really won 70 games because Cleveland, Dallas, etc sucked so bad according to him.
Jeff should come to a GTG, but I wouldn't feel right providing alcohol to a re ed 15 year old crackbaby.
Retire immediately. You can't just go around taking away championships, but he should apologize to the fans and just step down.

Actually this post is only mildly re ed. Notice he didn't say what "WILL" Stern do, but instead, what "SHOULD" Stern do....
Stern should just let it be because that series was not decided by one referee, no matter how much affect he had on any one game.
Controversy is inherent in compe ion because both sides want to win equally as much as the other. This time the controversy surrounds a ref that bet on games he was reffing....but there were still two other refs calling the game and not every call was being argued prior to the Donaghy revelation.

Even if there was proof that the Suns got ed over in Game 3, you still don't take away a team's championship.
If you were going to take the championship away from San Antonio and reward it to anybody else it should be Cleveland. They won the east and were in the series, and thus would be next in line. But you don't give it to Phoenix. They were eliminated 2 rounds from the end. It's not like their series was the actual championship. To give the trophy to the Suns would disrespect the Jazz and Cavs who both legitimately advanced further.
Let me put it this way, if the Spurs/Nuggets series were found to be tainted would Denver then get the trophy?
Nobody ed the Suns over. The Suns had many chances to win the series, and they predictably came up short.
Sun fan acts as though the team was jobbed more than the US was in their gold medal game with the Soviets in 1972, and it just ain't so.
Who would you rather be right now, Goodell or Stern?
