I don't buy it. Publicity stunt, she probably makes more than that in endorsements anyways.
As long as people pay attention to her and she's getting paid millions to appear at parties and clubs she will never be broke.
But, if she has any shame or respect towards her Grandfather it should be an indictator to get her act straight.

Hilton senior, the only member of the family left with a sizeable stake in the huge hotel chain, has let it be known that he intends to donate to charity the $2.4bn he will gain from this month's sale of the company to private equity firm Blackstone.
I like that approach by Grandpa Hilton, Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are taking. I think more filthy rich people should take the same approach.
