Would the spurs be interested in trading for any of the players going to Boston
I'm sure the Spurs would be interested in Garnett, as would the other 27 teams.
you 28.
edit: 30 - minny - boston - san antonio = 27... sorry.
I love the out of Gomes. This guy would fit well in SA.
3 wins a year against the T-Wolves
I assume a lot of players like CJ Miles...will be getting calls....even possibly James White from Danny Ainge and the Celts.
Yes, he would. I don't think Minny will give him up though, but it would be great to see SA go after him. He has intangibles that won't be seen in Minny.
Webber has been talking about wanting a ring.. would he take the vets min? That would help the bench. Brevin Knight, Dee Brown?
OMG, Gomes in SA would be sweet.
Decent overall talent that fills a need position and can be a solid role-player on championship-contending team....
Sign him up!
yes he would, i was ing pissed when we picked ian over him
I think they will, last year of his contract, and they already have a starting small forward in Davis and they have Hassell and drafted Brewer
Its just wishful thinking. Common sense players like this rarely make it SA's way. We perfer the much easier coin flip of success 2nd round gamble.
I broke a remote that night I was so pissed.
Season sweeps versus Celtics and T-Pups
I presume that KG will sign an extension with Boston, so that means the Spurs can't sign him after next year. Other than that, not much. Boston's not going to the Finals next year, and the Wolves won't make the playoffs.
Tim Duncan will lead the All Star Ballot over Yao Ming in the West
Yup, Garnet + Pierce + Allen is really formidable.
But so is Barkley, Drexler and Olajuwon.![]()
Who were like 1 game from being in the Finals
Allen, Robinson and Cassell was supposed to be really formidable, too. We've seen Robinson and Cassell play well on other teams, so guess who the problem was? Now we put him on a team with KG and Paul Gimmethaball? Should be lots of drama.
Spurs are happy KG is out of the WC
Effect = we only have to see him twice now
Garnett is the best passing big man in the league. He will gladly share the ball with Pierce and Ray.
I don't expect it'll mean too much unless both teams make it to the Finals. Then it may mean something.
