    I watched this kid with Atlanta this year and followed him coming up through the ranks as I live in the area. Dude is legit.

    If Salty and just one of those pitching prospects become solid pros, this is one of a trade for Texas.

    Not to be outdone, Tex knocked in 4 RBI in his Braves debut, and he did it all without being a sourpuss asshole.

    Oh well, I'm pleased as punch about the Rangers right now. We WILL finish .500 before the season is over. Ron Washington is legit and now the main guy cramping his style is gone. If Blalock gets with the program too, then this thing is gonna be damn good in a year or two.

    a week ago we were gonna trade for him and Adam Davies, which is a horrible trade.

    i never bashed Salty, i just said that he didn't mean if we didn't get some quality pitching prospects. instead of one suckass, we have three decent prospects so i'm alot happier about the trade. If they did the Salty/Davies trade I would be up in arms bashing the out of Daniels.

    Well, it's been a few games since his first hit RBI and he has compiled... no more hits to mention. Only equaled by Jason Botts ability to strike out or pop up.
