Nobody has said that he was the answer.
He just could have been a decent project for the 3rd string PG spot.
Spurs have for the moment 3 PGs. As long as Beno is on the roster, Spurs won't have a roster spot available for another PG.
And to think...we used to think he was the answer for the Spurs.

Mason, Hall And Miles Could Fill Out Wizards' Roster
August 6, 2007 - 12:48 pm
Washington Post -
Washington has interest in resigning Roger Mason and the final two or three spots may be filled by some of the summer leaguers like Mike Hall and Aaron Miles.
After summer league, Eddie Jordan said he was impressed by what he saw from Miles and the coaching staff and front office likes what Hall brings to the practice court, lockeroom and bench.

A lot of people thought he was the answer. I remember plenty of people saying that we should sign him and make him our backup this year.
If you said so.
Aaron Miles as backup PG for a contender is a crazy idea. Maybe it was when people were desperate in January/February.
Aaron Miles has signed an one year contract with Sevilla (Spain).
