Would a Great Dane be a balla when it comes to fighting?
I've always liked Siberian Husky's/Akira's, just cause they look like Wolves. An interesting fight would be those wild dogs vs wolves. That'd be sick.
Feel free to move this to the troll forum if you don't think it's appropriate here. But all this pit bull talk and if they would win against a man or a German Shepherd has me thinking. I want to make the ultimate dog fighting thread. One breed vs. another. Match them up evenly too, no Doberman vs. Chihuahua .
So, who wins:
Doberman vs. Rottweiler
Pit bull vs. Bull terrier
German Shepherd/Rottweiler/Doberman vs. Argentine Dogo
Mastiff vs. Wolf

Great Dane's are very tame and friendly. My cousins have two. They're lovers not fighters.
No wonder Scooby was such a wimp. Shaggy had to always carry his ass when they were running from the monster.

I would pick the rottweiler and the German sheperd over all of those breeds.
The rottweiler is tremendously strong, the German Sheperd is fast and ferocious and does not give up easily.

You know there is a reason people fight pit bulls instead of all those other dogs. Most of those dogs wouldn't last a minute in the ring with a pit, except maybe a mastiff just because of a 100 pound weight advantage. Fighting dogs is sick anyways, just go to youtube and look at the injuries that result from some of those fights. And btw, the only breed that can hang with a pit is a tosa inu. Those are the only 2 breeds that people still fight today.
I think the Argentine Dogo is pretty bad ass, it's basically an overgrown pit bull.

The AKC doesn't actually regognize the pit bull terrier, but they do recognize the American Staffordshire Terrier which is a pit bull blood line thats been bred for show and not fighting for the past 100 years. And those aren't cheap, I think they start at 1k and up.
