Who cares? Either he does or he doesn't. None of us vote before November of '08 anyway.
First, it was supposed to be on July 4th. Then, it got pushed backed to Labor Day. Now, I'm hearing rumors that it will be closer to Valentine's Day. What gives? Is he actually going to run, or is he getting paid by American Greetings to raise awareness of upcoming holidays?

Fred'll probably announce on Halloween 2008 in hopes that he'll never have to debate, campaign, explain why he's on the DC Madam's clientale list, or take a clear stand on any issue.

I am interested to hear his platform. All I know about Thompson is that he is supposedly very conservative and, of course, that he is the " Law and Order" guy.
Fred Thompson is a good ol' boy I used to go stripper shopping with back in Tennessee
I don't really care if he announces or not. Of course, I'll listen to what he has to say and research his political positions, but for me, it's either Edwards, Giuliani, and maybe Obama.
