They do not need another big. So the answer is NO.
According to realgm.... Minnesota is trying to trade J. Howard since they traded K. Garnett....
They are currently talking to three teams... Do you'll think that the Spurs are one of them...
Possibly Brent + Beno for J. Howard..... Just thinking out loud......

Doubfull.
Howard though wouldn't be half bad.
Howard > Elson
I just saw on another thread that the Spurs just signed Ian.... If true then no J. Howard........
3 mil vs 14 mil left on contracts between the two..I will take Elson!!
one actually rebounds and scores
one is worthless
ill take the rebounder and scorer
Ill take Howard.
Where did you see this?
You can take howard but the spurs will pass on an overpayed has been with 2 more yrs left on his contract.
Elson: 12.1 rebounds/48 minutes
Howard: 10.7 rebounds/48 minutes
Typical Tpark idiocy.![]()
Even without looking at their contract and given Spurs roster, I rather have Elson than Howard.
And when you look at Howard contract, I don't see Spurs being interested in him.
Why'd Minny trade for him, then?!
Anyway, one more season after this one. Too much money.
Elson can run.
Run, Elson, run.
typical geek behind a computer tough guy at ude.Typical Tpark idiocy
yeah cause everyone plays 48 minsElson: 12.1 rebounds/48 minutes
Howard: 10.7 rebounds/48 minutes![]()
Um...actually, if you reduce it to 40, 30, 10, or one minute, Elson out-rebounds Howard.yeah cause everyone plays 48 mins
because when they got him they still had kg, and howard wanted to play with kg, now that kg is gone, howard has asked that he be traded to a team that can contend
