Good. I hate when guys unretire. Reggie had a great career and nothing to be embarrassed about. No, he didn't win a ring, but neither did a lot of guys on the all-time short list.
Reggie Won't Return To Court

Indianapolis Star -
Reggie Miller is not coming back.
After two weeks of pushing his body to see how it might react to the punishment of an NBA season, Miller told The Star late Thursday night he has decided he will not make a comeback with the Boston Celtics or anybody else.
"That's it,'' he said by telephone from his home in Malibu, Calif. "Physically, I know I could have done it. But mentally, when you do something like this, you've either got to be all in or all out. And I've decided I'm all out.
"Earlier today (Thursday), I was ready to come back. I was going to do it. But then I flew back here, I thought about it, I talked to a lot of people, and honestly, most people told me I should come back. Charles (Barkley), Mark (Jackson), Doug (Collins), they all said I should do it. And when I was back in Indy this week for the Peyton (Manning charity bowling event), people on the streets, they'd tell me to do it.
"But as the day went on, I just realized I wasn't ready mentally to put myself through the grind again.''

I also don't like it when they come back.
Miller is one of those guys I would have been happy for if he could have gotten a ring, but I would want to see him do it as a Pacer.
Most people here in Indiana wouldn't mind seeing him come back as a Pacer, but feel more or less the way you do. However, becuase of Larry Bird, there are a lot of Celtics fans in Indiana also. (Well, at least more than you would guess, "a lot" is probably an overstatement.)
I'm just glad the wait is over. The suspense was starting to get on my nerves.
I didn't realize Miller had offers to consider.
The Celtics wanted him, I'm not sure if he had others.
I think he should have stayed retired and that he had a good career, but I don't like when retired players who might make a comeback keep us waiting in suspense to hear their decision, and then stay retired. If they are even going to consider it and then have the rest of us waiting to hear, they might as well come back.
Karl Malone did the same thing to the NBA world at the beginning of the 2004-2005 season.
