To be completely fair, I bet the Yankees organization had no input into this until after the hats were on the shelf. New Era has such an open-ended license with MLB that they can put any MLB logo on basically any design they want without any approval process. And New Era has been marketing the gang population for years, just never this blatant.

dude tpark... those are gang colors, you wear those in the wrong part of harlem or many other places for that matter and you will get shot. come on man, did you read the article? those caps are specifically designed for bloods, crips, latin kings gang members and those who wish they were parts of those gangs
That is ing sick. If you see someone wearing a blue rag or a red rag folded over in the way the hat is imitating, it's an unmistakable sign the person is flying his colors.
what if some kid got one of those and got his ass kicked for it.. but seriously, who the would buy one of those anyway? Has to be the ugliest hat New Era makes, and that saying alot.
edit: If you wear this hat you will get your ass kicked for a totally different reason than the Crips hat
