I want nothing to do with this after AVP1.
I want nothing to do with this after AVP1.
This one is nice and gory tho.![]()
Looks like they're going for an R-rated AVP this time around. Not that it'll help.
Looks like it was destined for straight to video
This is the kind of gore I do like. I will check it out.
...i thought this was one of those 'this or that' threads!
in that case :
Predator wins in a fight. Alien was a better movie (slightly).
Man, this looks way better.
Hopefully the writer actually saw the predator and Aliens movies this time
It looks like a piece of crap. But goddamit I'll be there if I get to see kills like that.
avp1 was high comedy.
this one defiantly went back to its roots with the gore but something about it looks cheap, like scott said earlier it looks like it should go straight to video![]()
Violence galore, Im going to give it a chance even though the first one sucked the biggest balls ever
My expectations are low but I'll see it.
the same guy that did AVP 1 does the Resident Evil movies. The AVP people did the smart thing and too the reigns from him. I wish the RE people were as smart.
Meh it looks like it will be slightly better then a Sci-Fi Channel Movie.
Hail the crimson blood--violence has arrived!
I will definitely see this. Didn't see AvP1 until I was at my parent's house with nothing else to do.
More s, blood, gore, and VIOLENCE is what all of these crossover movies need to truely make them great. I don't see it straight to DVD, but will probably flop--not that that's a bad thing, cuz it couldn't possibly lose more money than AvP1. I'll see this one for sure.
Violence. yeeeeah.

was that in ripley
no it was not Ripley, it was Reiko Aylesworth, the woman from 24

The movie earned roughly 171 million on a 60 million budget, which according to the wiki, makes it one of the most successful films in either franchise.
you also have to consider that AVP 1 was Rated PG-13, so Kids yes kids could go see an Alien vs Predator movie, that is just sacrilegious. I am going to love it when parents make that mistake with this movie. They are going to be like "Hey what the heck, why is there gore, blood, suspense, and horror in this movie, this is nothing like AVP1"
The first one was one of those movies where the large cast gets mowed down 1 by 1 (like in Doom). Why even put humans in there after they've "done their part" ? (anyone who has seen the first one knows what i'm talking about)
GTFO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The flurry of Web buzz about a possible reboot of Ridley Scott's Alien has had fans either crying 'sacrilege!' or doing virtual back-flips. Well, turns out it's true: EW has confirmed that an origins story for the 1979 sci-fi classic is being actively developed by Scott, who would produce but not direct. Instead, he's tapped first-time filmmaker Carl Rinsch, best known for his futuristic TV commercials, like the following German spot he did for Saturn:
