Would you be ok with that?

I think what he has done is inexcusable, inhumane and disgusting. I believe he deserves to be punished. I also believe that once he does his time, he should be allowed to pursue gainful employment. If he wants to try to get back in the NFL, he should be allowed to. On that same token, I believe that an NFL owner has the same right to not extend him an invite.

Would you want him on your team?

Dont know if Id WANT him, but if he proves he is rehabilitated, and the team trusts him, Id take him as a change of pace runningback or 4th reciever. Not as a qb though, as he sucks ass at that position

If he pays his debt to society, there's no reason not to allow him back, other than the fact that he admitted to bankrolling a criminal gambling enterprise, and should, by rule, receive a lifetime ban from the NFL. Since that's not my call to make, I'll just say that since other talented athletes are welcomed back after the reprehensible they do then why shouldn't Mike Vick?

Yea this is the key. I really don't know if he will ever get back in, Godell has proven that he rules with an iron fist. For him not to receive a lifetime ban the code of conduct would need to be changed. should be interesting to see.

But to answer the question, I would not be excited if they took interest in him, but as stated before I would only want him as a kick return specialist, change of pace back, or 4th receiver not QB.

    No .

Between that and Sheli whining to be traded.....life is good for SD fan. If the Bolts can win the big one, the whole Ryan Leaf thing will be forgotten.

If the Rams signed him, I would dump my half season plan, and be disgusted that I ever associated with a team that found his actions "ok"

didn't you know, unlike dogfighting, drunk drivers aren't future serial killers!

driving drunk and killing people is downright godly compared to dogfighting!

See, I disagree with that. JJ is nothing if not a businessman....bringing Vick in would be bad for business and right about the time he could be available back to the NFL, Jerry will be trying to fill a new stadium. He knows the PR headaches he had with Irvin...its why he didn't draft Moss and won't sign Vick.

could not have said it better myself. jerry is always a business first guy, always has been always will be. Most people hate him for this reason.
