Parker day-to-day. If he's out vs. Orlando, Beno starts -- noncommittal about Barry or Wilks backing him up.
"Devin is playing better [than Barry] so he's getting more minutes."
"If Barry works on his defense the offense will take care of itself."
Tony tweaked his groin in Cleveland game. He was real sore the next day, and today he can't move on it. He may not be able to play next game. Sometimes groin pulls take a while to heal and get right. If he doesn't go then Beno will run the point and Wilks or Brent will back him up...not sure at this point.
On Karl Malone:
Pop hasn't spoken to Karl Malone one time since the season began. He seems like he's getting close to wanting to do something but he hasn't heard from him.
Pop feels the same as he did a year ago. Not any secret. His agent has contacted RC and Danny but nothing really going on to date.
As far as chemistry goes, Karl "could help us a lot, it could help us a little, or it could hurt us but to me it seems like a No brainer (to bring Karl in)."
On Brent Barry's recent play:
Brent hasn't shot the ball well. Devin is playing really fine basketball and he's being rewarded with minutes. If Brent was playing better he'd be getting more minutes...but since Devin's playing better, he's getting more minutes. We just want Brent to concentrate more on his defense and his offense will be there...in time.

Went out of his way to politely on a guy who made a Malone joke.
Someone was saying something about Tim having to play center and Pop set him straight. Timmy's been playing center for us all along. When Malik comes in Tim guards the center. Tim plays both positions (4 and 5) all the time so that's not a problem for him.
