"We'll let you in on a little secret…we cook our 'trademark' beef briskets in the pit overnight for twelve to fourteen hours so we can give you the best, most tender brisket you ever tasted! If that doesn't suit your fancy, we have 7 other delicious, slow-cooked meats to choose from, all of which will make your mouth water. Just don't be mad at us for making your choice a hard one… "
They actually cook their meats on a pit overnight.
they have a eys up by dell in austin, and it's not very good.
Ehhhhhh...moderate.
3 lbs of meat with trimmings from Rudy's........$45-50
3 lbs of meat with trimmings from ey's........$30
ey's sucks, Famous Dave's is better. The food is pretty bland it just doesn't taste like real bbq. If they had Rudy's here in Dallas it would Kill.
The food is pretty good. The brisket is pretty good and the pulled pork was good. Their sides are less than desirable. The potato salad wasn't very good, nor were the beans. The mac n' cheese was good though.
........all I can vouch for is the pulled pork and sausage.
agreed. had some pretty tasty rudy's yesterday tho..
rudy's isn't bad. i dig their potato salad. for brisket, it's extra moist all the way.
Right now, I only eat at "Old Smokehose BBQ".
It's located at Fredericksburg and Callahagn.
To easy.
Is that Bobs Bar BQ? it's like 10 blocks from my apartment. You should stop by sometime. How are the sides?
