I think coaching and that I don't really think they got any better this off season while others did. That first year when you have an element of surprise and a very advantageous schedule usually are followed by a crappy season..
their coach before was an o coach with giants
kicked but one year team adjusted and then they sucked
is their coaching the problem?

Reggie Bush still can't average more than 3 yards per carry. The WR corp is very thin. The offense has gone stale, and they don't go deep with the ball anymore. The defense was not very good last year, and seems to be worse this year. God has already forgotten about Katrina.
Brees has never put together back to back good seasons. I don't expect him to do any different this year.
Saints need to run the ball with Deuce on offense and shore up their coverages on defense. They've already given up 5 completions of 40 yards or more in 2 games. Last season they led the NFL in that category with 16 over the season. They are on pace to shatter that.
Reggie Bush needs to stop bouncing everything outside. He's getting too many carries from the backfield and he just tries to bounce everything. NFL players are far too fast to get away with that , especially now that they know he's going to do it. I think the coaching is fine, but the execution by the players has been horrible.
3500+ yards, 24 TDs/15 INTs and a rating of 89.2 is a bad year?

Bingo, if Angels in the Outfield taught us anything, it's that God only helps you one season. And you have to win the Championship on your own (which they couldn't do) God has moved on.
Easy, they don't understand the go marching in part.
Cinderella...carriage...pumpkin. I expect many empty seats and bags on heads within a year. You can't maintain a team on emotion in the long run, either on the field, or as a fan or sponsor.
In the long run, the Saints won't be in N.O. I think it will be 15-20 years before N.O. approaches the population base and business environment of the pre-Katrina days. I was reading an article that the state is going to buy back 19000 destroyed homes. If you figure an average of 3 peeps per casa, that's close to 60,000 people, or 10 percent of the pre-Katrina population, that are throwing in the towel.
Benson was (and still is) getting a huge subsidy from the state to stay, and that runs out in 2010. Couple that with the fact that the stadium is like 40 years old, no one can afford to replace it, and you have an exit cue.
im glad we didnt get the #1 pick that year.... GORE >>>>>>>>>>> BUSH
nothing like missing the over by a half point because a professional kicker can't hit a 18 yard field goal
Drew Brees 4 picks 0 TDs.... SUPER BOOOOOOOWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!
There are exactly two good football teams in the NFC this year.
I'm enjoying having Manning on my team by virtue of a trade that "only happened because I have Brees too."
