Yes Kobe's was a buzzer beater....not a game winner...still very unrealistic...especially when Marion will be the one passing the ball to Kobe for the 3Come to think of it...if kobe had 98, he would go for a 3 to beat the record....not settle for a 2....

Yes, 2k series is the ...ever since the Dreamcast days. Watching that video had a lot of sweet moves in EA's version, however it had the same moves performed by the same guys...like every player can pull off those juke moves. Graphically it looks like EA's is a little more polished, but gameplay and fluidity is where it matters and so far in it's history 2k's been there....I guess we'll see the game when it ships on Next week.
I might get it for 360, since I'm getting one for X-mas. , if I have the money, I might get Live 08 while I'm at it.
Dude, don't. Stop supporting ty sports games, or they will never improve.
You know what, that is a very, very good point. Besides, DW: Gundam is the impetus for me getting a 360, so that's top of the list. But, yeah. I have Live 07 and 2k7, but 2k=better.
Right now I am 100% pc gamer so i am forced to get live.
I am really considering making the switch back to console though.

Yes. No franchise mode, no computer veto of trades (Sebastian Telfair for Duncan? Why sure, that's a great trade) and the incredible ability to dribble -through- other players. Not like, over them, but throwing the ball through their bodies.

All these freaking basketball franchises need to come up with some original names. NBA 2k8, NBA 08, NBA Live 08.
Are you kidding me? I'm a hardcore gamer and -I'M- getting them confused.
Why? They release the same exact game every year (Madden, NBA Live) and they sell like crazy. EA Sports = smartest people in the business. They make no effort, they market their games like crazy (Ozzy Osbourne playing in front of thousands of people in Times Square, waiting in line at a friggin TOY STORE, on live TV), and they sell double or triple what other sports games sell.
