Never thought i'd say this but last nights interview with Kobe was great because of him. That other guy, john saunders???, was just as good. So what if Kobe never gave legitamate answers. As a viewer the stuff they asked made ME squirm. You could see Kobe squirming too. As much as Charles likes to think he's king , i think he'll fall flat. He's going to ask why should we root for you??? Classic HS journalism fluff. The only way last night could have went better for those two is if when Kobe said he'd call shaq if he had his number if one of them said:
A: I have it right here, do you want it?
B: If i get it too you tonight would you call him tomorrow?
It was so weird seeing this sports icon, no matter how far he has fallen getting these questions and being asked them in a manner where these guys don't sound/act like their kissing your ass.
kobe was lying his ass off.
he gave so many evasive verbal responses, i couldn't keep up.
when someone says to a question, "to be prefectly honest with you.." they are lying or have been previously lying.
replying to questions with questions is also a big no-no. "you know?"
