I was a molester priest a few year back. I also needed a fake boner for my costume. I took a holder for paper towels and duck taped it to my belt, which was under my priest robe. It worked well. Good luck on finding the perfect boner.
Ok, it's October 1st. The sun is setting early and a cold front is on its way. Stores are turning black and orange. Candy is being bought by the pallet. Places like Party City and Spencer's Gifts are getting more and more crowded by the day. Yep, Halloween is on its way.
For the kids, Halloween means dressing up as their favorite super hero and eating candy like a four-course meal. For adults, Halloween means either following them as they ask strangers for sweets, or scaring the ever-loving out of the kids who Trick-or-Treat your house (I suggest planting a bowl on the porch that says "take one," then hiding in the bushes).
So, this is the thread to discuss costume ideas, tell that story about when you put super glue on those candied apples, ask where the good deals are, or find out who makes the best pumpkin pie (for my money, go to Bill Miller's for pie). Anything.
(I'll start, by asking for suggestions on making a fake . I'm going to a party as "Woody" from Toy Story and I need to make a... uh... woody. The "woody" is going to be on the inside of my jeans, so it doesn't have to look realistic -- i.e. first idea was socks and pantyhose -- it just has to create a very visible and obvious outline. Any ideas on how to go about this?)

But didn't that crumple? I'd think the cardboard would lose shape after a while. And what did you use as the "head"? I want this thing to be obvious, accurate, and completely downright offensive.

Not the paper towel cardboard part, the actual large plastic paper towel holder (stand up version) that held the paper towel roll. Luckily, my holder had a somewhat large bulge at the end and worked perfectly.

get a knee high stocking or cut the leg off a pantyhose. Then take a bathroom hand towel( the thicker the better). After you get it folded the put it in the panty hose. Somewhere I have an excellent pic of a friend of mine who did it, but I don't have time to go searching through boxes of photos right now.
There are how-to videos online showing you how to fold them. Although the girl in the video used a skimpy little dishcloth so it looks awful IMO. Practice a few times and you will get better at it.

Me too. The cold weather becomes a drag after New Years in my opinion though.

My last one was Creedy from V For Vendetta. Black trenchcoat, black dress shirt, black pants (see a pattern here?), black shoes and socks, and had my hair all slicked back. I looked pretty damn good.
