That game is a 5 on 5 NBA Jam. Do yourself a favor and go with NBA 2k8. You'll be happy with it.
2k8 on 360 is ridiculous.
So Live 08 vs. 2K8 on the 360.....does anybody know which one is superior? 2K8 is ol' reliable, but Live has looked nice in the previews.
There is no comparison from anything I've heard. 2k8 has improved the entire package and brought (if you can believe it) even more realism to the game. Live has gotten better from what I'm hearing and seeing but its still got a ways to go.

I'll buy it tonight. I know it'll be a waste of $50 just like madden 08 was but until I make the switch back to console...

As has been discussed in TWO other threads, yes, NBA 08 is different from Live 08. Live is made by EA. NBA 08 is made by Sony.huh? Is there another one besides live 08 and 2k8?

Looking at IGN it appears BOTH released today..
circuit city dissapoints me, wait all day at school for 2k8 and then they dont have it today, seriously wtf. i had a discount so thats why i went there. they better have it tomorrow.

Get 2K8, I played the demo and it is amazing.
I want to get 2k8 but all my friends I play 360 with are getting Live 08 so I'm pretty much forced to get Live 08 as well.

Live does have a "dynasty" mode.
Just got done with my first online game of 2k8 and the guy was a Phoenix fan, took me into OT but Ginobili wrecked shop and went for 11 points and won the game for me on a 3. Anyways, NBA2k8 has to be the most realistic looking basketball game I've ever seen and it plays much better than last years game.
