Baron Davis was GODLY in that series. He was probably the sole reason the Mavs lost, what the Mavs should have done is got some scrub to foul him REALLY hard and injure him out for the series. Only chance Mavs had to win that series. I lost 5 bucks on that ing series.
Why Boston, Jeff? They won 24 games last year. Is it because they added Garnett? They won 32 last year. Ray Allen lead his team to 31 wins. So, Jeff, let's put them all together and we get an average of 29 wins (don't blame me - I'm just using JeffLogic). I don't think they'll even make the playoffs if they can only muster 29 wins.
Because the NBA is in desperate need of a compe ive NBA Finals. We've only had one compe ive Finals this decade, and that was in 2005. Cleveland sucks and shouldn't have been allowed past the 1st round, Miami seems to be too injured, and if we see Detroit in the Finals that would be great. But Boston vs. SA, with KG vs. Duncan and Ray Allen vs. Bruce Bowen makes an intriguing compe ive matchup.
The previous two teams that lost in the Finals - Cleveland and Dallas - Gave us horrible, horrible NBA Finals performances. Those teams weren't ready for the Finals and are ty teams. New Jersey Nets, Indiana Pacers, and the 76ers are some other horrendous Finals participants of this decade.
So if I think that a GS-Dallas video shouldn't be used to just piss off Mavs fans in the SPURS Forum, I'm a Mavs Fan ass licker?
