Is http://google.com (and thus, gmail) down for everyone?
Or is something wrong with my internet connection?
Thanks.

It's working for me.
reset your router
clear your temp files
What the .. it hasn't been working for me for an hour.It times out and says there's a server issue.
I already did that before I asked.
I thought you did you seem to be computer savvy
Working for me.
works for me too.
Are any other sites not working?
I knew I should have never started using gmail for work related stuff![]()
Working great from South Oklahoma ... may be a problem at your service provider.
No, everything else normal.
I'd imagine I have the same provider as many people here (TimeWarner/Roadrunner) that's why I asked here.
if you go to internet options and go to setup connection
reset up your internet connection
choice the manual connection
if that does not work then hit f5
if that does not work go to internet options again and go to connections and go to lan connection and check mark automatically detect settings
I read it is suppose to work better with that check and without it checked
I am using timewarner here in yuma
I'm at the university and it's working fine.
the internet has 4 main backbones
one of the 4 maybe done giving kori the problem in texas
This is just me rambling here, but you might want to see if you can use a mail program and work through Gmail that way.
I use Thunderbird and can send/receive e-mails that way (plus it offers an offline backup of my e-mail).
But that's the weird thing... Kori lives less than five minutes from me and we're both on TWC.
I really like gmail
you can use a email client to read your email from there
and you can forward alot of email there
their spam program rocks to
and you can go to different internet connections using your email client with gmail and you do not need to change your smpt settings
As a workaround you could try accessing gmail through an anonymous proxy server such as
http://proxify.com/
If the problem's somewhere in the TW cloud, this might let you get around it temporarily.
weird
using xp or vista you could do a system restore and take it back in time to yesterday
You are not suppose to lose any data
yes it works good
thnderbird rocks![]()
It's working here in Portland, Oregon.
