    ans QB Young suffers thigh injury

    TAMPA, Fla. – ans quarterback Vince Young left Sunday’s game against the Buccaneers in the third quarter with a quad strain.

    Young was taken by doctors into the locker room after he was injured while scrambling on a first down play. He was worked on by trainers on the sideline before being taken in.

    Young initially wasn’t moving well on the sideline, but he eventually did some jogging in place and jogged off the field.

    Back-up Kerry Collins took Young’s place, although the public address announcer in the press box said Young’s return is “probable.’’ Young returned to sideline at the end of the third quarter but was still limping.
