Ask Pop, he signed him.
What the are we paying Nesterovich for. He can"t drive, he hardly shoots, and he brings very little defense to the paint. He only shoots wide open shots. He looks like a freakin scardy cat out there some games. I know we need a strong presence up front, however this bum ain't workin out. Although I think i'm more frightened by the Idea of Karl Malones Lame self taggin along for a ring in 05!!!!
Ask Pop, he signed him.
I rarely participate in this sort of threads for the very simple reason that I don't get to see a lot of Spurs games. But last night's game I did see and your post really suprised me. Rasho's D was good and he was a presence in the paint yesterday. The best indicator he was doing his job defensively are the minutes that Pop left him in the game - long stretches without TD. So what game where you watching?
Slomo where did you saw this game?
I have a friend at the French Embassy in LJ. They have a Canal+ subscription and every so often we watch the game there (not nearly as often as I would like).
The french transmit by far the most NBA games in Europe (so far this season like 90% of the Spurs games - for obvious reasons)
I think he used a hacksaw and sawed it on a workbench in the garage.
Be kind to the foreign brothers/spurs fans...
Rasho was on the floor while Tim sat during the Spurs huge 4-minute 20 point swing in the 2nd quarter. Rasho doesn't look pretty and he dunks only in years when the Groundhog sees his shadow, but watch the game of basketball and not the style. Rasho has been playing better of late on D.
True, TP Manu and Barry led the offensive charge during the comeback, but I don't think Golden State scored many points on the other end during that time.
Well he tends to disappear at times, but last night, he did well although offensively it seems he can't hit the side of a barn. Anyway he got robbed of a great block by one of the blind refs.
did the guy have like 3 blocks last night?
Yeah, hes "horrible" on defense.
Another one of the stat highlight dunking gurus shows up here I see.
Sometimes, it's the unnoticed contributions that allow the obvious ones to happen.

Rasho is what he is. As long as he concetrates on D and plays as hard as he can....what else can he do? Also, as not a "name" player, he rarely get a call in his favor. We all wish he was Moses Malone, but he aint.
And louder than stats!
WTF !!! WHERE IS MY FLAG?![]()
It must be MBs guilty!![]()
and why does Rasho have BLUE lips?!?!?!
I don't get it![]()
Because there are times where his lips look as blue as an asthmatic in the arctic.
I don't get it either. 'Splain it to me.
Personally, I think Rasho is great and that we are lucky to have him. Rah has a nice hook shot, but I would like to see him dunk more. If Rasho has a fault, I think it is not realizing how strong and capable he is. Methinks maybe he has read one too many of your threads. =)
I sort of expected it to be funnier (Taco is one of the funniest posters here).
Angel: Are you already in England?
Wow, i never noticed his blue lips until now

What's this "WE" crap? First of all, YOU aren't payin for $h!t-the Spurs are. And if you're argument is going to be "Well, I meant 'we' as in fans."...well, you don't fit the description of any fan I've ever known. Look,
we have the finest set of players in the league...some great, some not-so-great. They work TOGETHER well, and that's why we win. You're not a fan...if you complain NOW, imagine how quick you'll jump from the bandwagon if we lose a couple of games
