They are reprints.
i think they came out of a printer... but a very high quality one.
Is that what Mavs fans do with there spare time?
They're reprints from pictopia.
They're quite expensive, but are high quality photographic prints on a special paper which should keep the fading to a minimum. I had them framed locally (the price for the framed version is ridiculous).

they do look good....but i had to chuckle when i thought about the DYI part of it. it just sounds funny. like...i hope you were able to hang some framed pictures by yourself. from the le of the thread, i was expecting to see some demo or something.
How much you charge to make copies?
That was the idea. I actually do most of the odd jobs on my house (everything except plumbing - plumbing drives me crazy) I do it to save some money and because I'm a control freak when it comes to certain (mostly technical) things. So hanging 4 framed pictures would normally not be really a big deal.
Although I would like to point out how absolutely perfect the spacing between the pictures is and how precisely they follow the line of the staircase.
And it only took me an hour and two laser levels
