Probably because they don't have the luxury of playing themselves, removing a crappy team from their schedule.
The B12. More specifically, OSU, atm and NU are 1, 2, 4.

Yeah, they should play CU and ISU instead.
Does it matter that a school has the toughest schedule in college if they end up losing 5 or 6 games? Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, they're losing at least two more games. A five loss team that has the toughest schedule is still a five loss team. If they had lost only one game up until now, maybe it would make sense pimping their schedule. As it is, they already lost 3 games, two losses to unranked teams.
Toughest schedule already trumped and made irrelevant.
I'd hate to say it, but OU isn't losing 2 or 3 more games no matter how much I'd love to see it. Texas more than likely isn't losing 2 more games, and Kansas probably won't lose 2 games. I don't know where you got that from.
I think the point is before the season SEC and Miles and P10 were pimping their scheds and saying how no one plays a beeter sched than in the SEC or how USCs was the toughest schedule, when ends up that clearly isn't true.
At the end of the day, out of 12 games, OSU will have only played 3 teams that will not go to a bowl - Baylor, Sam Houston and Nebraska. There are not many other, if any, teams you can say that about. To still get themselves to a bowl in the process is a pretty good feat. I'm not saying they are the greatest thing since sliced bread, but to be where they are now after the way they started is pretty amazing.
You misread what I wrote. OSU still has Texas, Kansas, and Oklahoma on their schedule. OSU will lose at least two of those games. They already have three losses. Hence, they likely will have 5 losses even with the toughest schedule. That's why I said pimping the toughest schedule when the team has 5 losses doesn't make any sense.
I didn't say OU, Texas, and/or Kansas were each losing two more games. I was saying OSU would likely lose at least two of those games against those three teams.
