yes, len bias, some people won't let go of the past.
From ever using the term "clutch city" again ??
Yes the 1995 squad was awesome, they truely earned that le. But the 1994 team would hardly be described as clutch, they just looked so because the knicks were anti-clutch, most notably John Starks. And since then, what??
1997 - Dream team with Fats Barkley joining the roster - lost to Utah
1998 - Up 2-1 first round to Utah - lose 3-2
1999 - Lose First round 3-1 to the Lakers
2004 - Lose First round 4-1 to the Lakers
2005 - Up 2-0, Epic Collapse and lose 4-3 to Dallas first round
2007 - Up 2-0, another Epic Collapse and lose 4-3 to Utah first round on homecourt
I don't get it. Clutch City ???
Yes they won back to back les and Rudy T. told us "...Don't ever underestimate the heart of a champion..." But what he said after that but nobody remembers because the microphone went out was really more relevant :
"... But don't ever underestimate the fact that Micheal Jordan is off trying to hit curveballs or else we wouldn't have won jack ..."
At least that's what I heard.

Just shut the up. It's getting old .
Ironic (see: "Hakeem schooled DRob in '95")
I think it's okay for them to use it since most Rockets fans go to sleep every night "clutching" their red and orange gear and praying that Steve Nash, Tim Duncan, Carlos Boozer, and Dirk all decide to try their hand at double A ball for a couple of years.
94 team was Clutch City not 95 team.
The Houston Oilers and Houston Astros should be exhibits 1 and 1A in the argument against calling Houston "Clutch City."
what brought it about was my neighbor running the other day and he was wearing what looked like a brand new shirt that had the clutch city moniker on it and i was like damn give it up. I stopped wearing my Cowboys back to back gear years ago. I guess it's fortunate that the Spurs have been supplying me with new championship wear every few years, I like to be fashionable.
