i wonder what the spurs will do with their open roster spot... the last time we traded for a protected pick, it was from the bulls and for this past year's draft, but they diidnt' finish high enough in the standings. i wonder if we'll actually get the pick this time, or if the FO even really cares....
GOOD RIDDANCE BENO!
Hmm so the third string is Washington - wow, with Voughn
SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Spurs announced today that they have traded guard Beno Udrih to the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for a protected 2008 second round draft pick.
The 6-3 Udrih was selected by the Spurs in the first round of the 2004 NBA Draft, with the 28th overall pick. In three seasons in San Antonio he appeared in 207 regular season games, averaging 5.2 points and 1.8 assists in 13.0 minutes.
About time.
I'm glad it finally got done.
hahahaha, stupid minnesota
after a week, twolves will be begging someone to take beno for a bag of cheetos
@ Kevin McHale.
He traded a second rounder for Beno?!?!?!
just came out on 5pm news on ksat 12...We get a protected 2nd round pick from wolves. This means we have an extras spot on the roster. Does this mean we keep our second round pick this year?? it did seem obvious that something was up with us keeping 4 point gaurds. I guess we know why now.

Protected, but still!![]()
