lol
If youre like me (and looking at the attendance for tonights Spurs game, you probably are), you have a hard time watching a Spurs game unless they're playing the Suns.
But tonight is opening night and the Spurs kick off the season! The excitement of a new season should be enough to hold our interest, right?
My guess is after about ten minutes, most of you will get tired of waiting for SOMETHING to happen and will switch the channel.
But I have a solution to the NBA's problems!
Swallowing the Spurs!
The drinking game that will do for the NBA what GAMBLING has done for the NFL!
RULES:
1. This is a multi-player game.
2. Start off with one bottle of your favorite liquor and as much beer as possible.
3. Each player gets a turn "round-robin" style.
4. Game can only be played during a nationally televised Spurs game.
5. When the next "Go Spurs Go moment" happens during your turn, you must stand up and shout "GO SPURS GO", drink the respective amount of alcohol (see below), and your turn is then over.
5. The game continues until someone passes out or the Spurs game ends.
GO SPURS GO MOMENTS:
1) If Tim Duncan holds the ball for five straight seconds without doing anything, you drink half a beer (the suspenseful countdown from 5 to one is going to be awesome).![]()
2) If Manu Ginobili Hits the floor, you drink half a beer (regardless if he was flopping or not).
![]()
3) If any Spurs argues a foul call by showing the ref his palms, you drink half a beer.
4) If any Spurs player celebrates a good play by making two fists in front of their chests, you drink half a beer.
![]()
5) If Bruce Bowen undercuts a jump shooter, you drink an entire beer.
6) If the announcers inform us that in spite of what the score says, we're actually watching a good game, you take a shot.
http://proxy.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=270612005
7) If the camera cuts to Eva Longoria in the stands, you take a shot (and you must chant "Go Evas Go" instead of the normal "Go Spurs Go").
8) If TWO "Go Spurs Go" Moments happen simultaneously, you must drink both amounts of liquor for each respective moment:
Remember, friends don't let friends drink and drive! And above all, GO SPURS GO!!

But Spurs still owning Suns every playoffs... oh well![]()
uhhh, this way my game wayyy before your dumb ass ever thought of it.
that sounds pretty toxic![]()
Ive already got all sorts of additions to the game going on in my head.
How bout a penalty for slurring the "Go Spurs Go" chant. Should there be a penalty if you say "Go ES-Spurs Go"?
If you have any good additions please let me know.
I have an addition, take a shot everytime you see Nash's O face

I miss the good old days of taking a shot on every Malik Rose pumpfake.
Just got back from my AA meeting and apparently they have a Suns Drinking Game.
According to them, one is free to drink themselves drunk the entirety of the following year the Suns win a championship. They say it does wonders for the end goal.
