ESPN -
ESPN is reporting that a three-way trade involving the Lakers, Bulls and Kings is now dead, but has been discussed.
The Lakers would acquire Ron Artest and Ben Wallace, the Kings would acquire Ben Gordon and P.J. Brown, while the Bulls would get Kobe Bryant.

Chicago gives up too much in that Deal. IMHO
ARE YOU JOKING ??????
If they get Kobe and hang onto Thomas and Noah it's a steal.
Wallace is a bad contract.
You compete this season to win the east.
You win the east the next 2 seasons.
Just because it was "discussed," it doesn't mean it was ever close to happening. Lakers would have been completely incompetent to have even considered it. And, Chicago gives up basically nothing to make that deal. Makes absolutely no sense.
LMAO @ that deal. It would be 2X worse than the Shaq trade.
Artest and Ben Wallace for Kobe? Kupchack is entering McHale territory.
