I wasn't able to watch the game, but can people discuss how Tony's 3-point shot looks, now that he has practiced it all summer? I noticed on the stat sheet that he attempted three of them in the Memphis game alone, so I'm assuming that Pop wasn't kidding about letting that become part of his offensive game.

How is he using it? Is it a step-back jumper like Manu's, or more of a transition pullup like a Chauncey Billups shot?

If anyone knows, how well (%) did he shoot this summer?

Is he only shooting it when left wide open? That's the only time I wanna see Tony jacking 3s, and I don't even want him doing it then unless he's hitting 40%.

At least one of the threes was against the shot clock so it wasn't something he had much of a choice in doing. The other two were set shots when he was open, not a step back or a quick Chauncy jack up on a break.

I'm not sure Im ready to see Tony start jacking up 3's like Billups does. Lets see how he does this season first with hitting them while he's open consistently.

Its a step back shot usually for Parker. Or a set shot when he gets open from a pass.

I dont think Parker jumpshooting is exactly good for this team. He should go to the rim more.

I wasn't advocating him doing that, just giving facts to the OP who couldn't watch the game.
