I have no doubt that Kobe will be a Laker this whole season and he's going to have at least one 85 point game and at least 1 altercation/scene with a teammate, a coaching staff member, or management before the season is over.
Bulls GM: Kobe will not be a Bull
Associated Press, Updated 3 minutes ago
Kobe Bryant won't be joining the Chicago Bulls anytime soon.
General manager John Paxson basically squashed the notion that the Los Angeles Lakers' superstar will wind up in Chicago, saying the teams were never on the verge of a deal and talks were over for now.
"There's not a deal done to be done," he said Thursday. "There's not going to be a deal done. All the things that were out there were really unfair to all of us who were trying to do our jobs. The misinformation ... I think gets in the way of the process. It's just such a complicated thing and we kind of put it to rest now."
Paxson's comments came a day after a flurry of rumors. Speculation picked up Wednesday, with one report saying the Bulls, Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Lakers were discussing a three-way deal that would bring the superstar to Chicago.
That scenario had Paxson sending Ben Gordon and a signed-and-traded P.J. Brown to Sacramento, Chicago's Ben Wallace and the Kings' Ron Artest heading to Los Angeles and the Bulls landing Bryant.
Bryant drew some boos during introductions before the Lakers' season-opening 95-93 loss to Houston on Tuesday, after calling the front office a mess and asking to be traded during the offseason. The jeers turned to cheers as Bryant scored 18 of his 45 points in the fourth quarter to lead a comeback.
The trade deadline isn't until February, so it's possible talks between the Lakers and Bulls could resume.
"Who knows?" Paxson said. "The reality is that right now, it's done."
Paxson was concerned the issue would become a distraction, so he decided to put it to rest.
"I think today sends a message to our players that nothing's going to be done," he said.

all that matters is that the Lakers will not win jack this year. sorry rockets fan.
The Bulls are going to suck ass this year with or without Kobe
If that was Pop, the very next day he would have been traded.
The Media is sooo full of ! You can't believe anything that is printed nowadays.
It's going to be a long season for the home team!![]()
We go from possibly getting Gordon to getting Beno, what a step up
I wonder if this could be like Webber, we were told he wasn't going anywhere and then he was gone![]()
The Rockets? I really don't see how this affects them.
Old and boring!
It wasn't a joke. It's a serious question. How does Kobe not getting traded affect your team, the Rockets? It's a simple question, really...
What's old is resorting to nothing but insults (ones that you didn't even make up in particular) because your lack of knowledge and ignorance prevents you from engaging in a basketball related debate.
Kobe is untradeable. Untradeable in a sense nobody wants him as the team leader with a bunch of young scrubs with potential.
Dr. Buss is not a multi-millionaire because he lacks negotiating skills...Kobe has acted like a whining spoiled brat; Dr Buss proved that teams are not willing to take the spoiled brat on...Unless it is for “B” players...
Knowing that he is NOT going to be traded...Kobe is now free to concentrate on his Team, his Conditioning, Respect for the Lakers Coaching staff and setting a good example for young people all over the world...![]()
Thanks I needed that laugh!

It's going to be a long, hard season for Kobe.
And therefore for the Lakers.
He's miserable. It's on his mind and it will show in his game.
He is untradeable, both getting "value" back for, and because his reputation as a teammate preceeds him.
No team wants to take that on, even for the talent he is.
I agree, So what happens now? Do they trade him without getting the value in return? It's almost to that point now.
I don't know what to think.
Everyday my newspaper has a different take, a different quote.
Kobe's focused, Kobe's not focused.
Phil wants him, Phil doesn't want him.
They're shopping him, they're not shopping him.
All I can tell for sure is Kobe is miserable.
This can't end well no matter what happens.
If the Lakers trade him just to get rid of him, they'll get nothing in return. The seats will empty fast at Staples.
Kobe has a say. He wanted Chicago. They don't want him.
I don't know what his next choice is.
If the Lakers can somehow appease him, bring him J. O'Neal or someone Kobe thinks will help, that might be the best possible outcome.
I think Kobe will settle for a token response from the FO, something that shows him that they're trying. He doesn't believe their words anymore, he has to see it.
I don't blame him.
I hold Kobe responsible for his part of this mess but I do feel for him.
One of the best players in the game wasting his prime on a non contending team.
That's got to hurt.
Good to see the Kobes 1vs5 basketball will still get the ratings and Kobe's 50 point garbage basketball will get standing ovations
what a joke
Dude, I am sooo sick of hearing about Kobe trades....trade him already , get it over with.. I think Espn is to blame for all this hype...They are as bad as the National Inquier.
Hey, I heard that Kobe wore a Bulls Jersey to practice yesterday. True or
False? I haven't read anything on it.
Didn't see that in the Lakers notes section this morning.![]()
LOl, maybe that was just a rumor. They did say he did it in jest!![]()
Oh, please.
Leave the predictions to SpursDynasty.
