However, I haven't acted like A&M is a legit program and have been calling for Fran's head in 2007 since the Fresno State game. Well, Mike, if you turned me off ignore instead of having to read my abridged comments through a 3rd party, you'd realize that I did not tout the compe iveness of A&M football.
Now, since you're the one that brought up basketball, I do believe that A&M has had more than one "decent" year in basketball... they had about 3 decent years.... how is Marist doing?
I give them credit for fighting out for wins with all the that has gone wrong this year. To think, we're a couple of Charles -ups away from being a 1 loss team at this point, and that's incredible with this team. If they finish the year with only two losses heading into the bowl game then it's definitely a successful season given how things have played out.
^Oh yeah. I would take a 10-2 record and be VERY happy with that. If we could somehow find a way to squeak into a BCS bowl game? Even better. I'm also hoping all the experience our young guys have gotten this year will pay dividends next season.

^With what? Finishing 10-2 and making a BCS game? I could handle that, especially the way things have gone this season with inconsistent play and all the injuries.
