Was watching the Mav's - Kings game last night on the NBATV and they were using the Sac feed with their announcers.

They were in the middle of praising JJB and Harris of the Mavs and lamenting Bibby being out. Anywho, they said "Udrih will provide leadership and run the offense with a stead hand" and "He isn't as fast as Berea but brings the same penetrating and passing skills that will help the team"

Thought that was a little funny. They have no idea

    Penetrate: It's ok.
    Passing: It's sorta ok.
    Run the offense: Sometimes.
With a stead hand?: Doubt it.
    Leadership:

yeah, lol, that fool was constantly up @ bombay chilling w/ a bunch of cokeheads.. when i was working @ InfoNXX his home number was actually listed in the directory, and we crank called him the night they played the pistons in game 1 of the finals, in a mock tony parker voice "inviting" to a strip club to celebrate.. he really never thought it wasnt tony, started asking who was going, my friend said "me, robert, timmy" then he IMMEDIATELY interupts with "teemies no going, teemies no going" was funny.. it was funny how he KNEW tim wouldnt step foot in a strip club here.. i guess that was my best memory of beno..

That's actually pretty funny, although I usually think crank calls are lame...

Will Beno start any time soon? I need to know for my Dynasty team.

I hope he finds a positive new start with the Kings.

I saw the Kings feed of the Spurs-Kings game, and I was dying laughing when they kept talking about how pure of a point guard Udrih is, how he's a textbook point gard, yadda yadda.

i'll take a biased homer (sean) anyday over bill walton..without a shadow of a doubt he is the stupidest guy in commentary..he contradicts himself in the same games sometimes.. when tony struggles he's quick to criticize, then after parker scores 20 or more points he jumps right back on the bandwagon.. and has he ever said anything good about his son?? its like he doesnt even acknowledge luke..no praises, mentions, facts...i guess he's illegitimate..

Timing is off for injured Kings newcomers
Beno Udrih doesn't feel ready but is needed. Spencer Hawes wants to go, but he's told no.

Beno Udrih and Spencer Hawes want to switch positions.

Not the point guard and center spots, but their respective spots regarding the injuries that are holding them back and the viewpoint of the Kings coaching and training staffs that will largely determine when they return.

The point guard signed recently to help with the long-term absence of Mike Bibby wants a bit more time before he tries out the left index finger he broke in October. He said he's eyeing Saturday's home game against Minnesota at the earliest but more likely Monday's game at Utah. Kings coach Reggie Theus, however, would love to see him hit the floor tonight against Cleveland.

"I think he's ready," Theus said. "I think he wants to come in and have his best opportunity to play the best that he can play right now.

"But he's going to have to understand that we might need him today, and waiting until that perfect moment might not be an option. He might have to grind it out for a couple of days."

Udrih said the finger feels fine, and he might begin wearing a protective brace to avoid reinjury.

"I can shoot and dribble and it doesn't bother me any more," he said. "But I just don't want to get hit on it when we're playing a game."
