No-one wants to have a go?
I'll buy a night of drinks for the person with the closest entry next time I'm in SA as a prize...

I did this last year and got pretty close (on the divisional orders, anyway, and some teams' W-L) so I thought I'd do it again...
Boston (54-28) 2
Toronto (47-35) 5
New Jersey (43-39) 6
Philadelphia (30-52)
New York (28-54)
Detroit (56-26) 1
Chicago (52-30) 4
Cleveland (42-42) 7
Indiana (32-50)
Milwaukee (31-51)
Orlando (50-32) 3
Charlotte (42-42) 8
Washington (36-44)
Atlanta (34-48)
Miami (28-56)
Utah (56-26) 2
Denver (54-28) 5
Portland (36-46)
Seattle (27-55)
Minnesota (18-64)
Phoenix (55-27) 3
LAL (45-36) 7
Golden State (41-41)
LAC (33-54)
Sacramento (20-60)
San Antonio (58-24) 1
Dallas(56-26) 4
Houston (52-30) 6
New Orleans (45-37) 8
Memphis (31-51)
(wins add up to 1230)
And as a disclaimer, last year I picked the Spurs to be second in the division, but this year we have the deepest team I've seen. Very deep. So I reckon we'll lead the West this year, although it wouldn't surprise me to see Dallas win up to 60. The Suns, OTOH, regressed.

I'm just curious why people think the Cavs will be terrible after losing one player from last year. I know we didn't add anyone, but it's not like we lost anyone. If you ask me, everyone is just taking the opinions of the media for their own because it's the vouge thing right now to love the Celtics

Chicago
Milwaukee
Indiana

Well that's exactly the point. The Cavs lost players and did not add anyone while other teams added depth and made significant changes. At least most of them. Staying put is no way to improve, I think Miami proved this last season. The only team who managed to play on a high level without making significant changes are the Pistons. They might not finish as bad as predicted, but they will surely not repeat last seasons success.
Good to see a few people had a go.
I will dig up this thread periodically throughout the season and see how we're going!![]()

This year's predictions were pretty well ruined by all of the mid-season trades.
I picked all of the West playoff participants, but in entirely the wrong order. Got 5/8 in the East, which is not great.
Well done to those who picked Atlanta to make the East playoffs, although no-one got Phili and those who picked New York - what the were you thinking???
Thanks to those who participated.
Next year, I think we should make this a compe ion... exactly how we'll structure it I'm not sure and suggestions are welcome.
