Problem with streaming anything online

I've been trying lately to listen to WOAI, Sirius radio online but all that happens above the play button is that it says

"Connecting"

Then it goes to "ready"

You push play it shows connecting for a milisecond then goes to Ready again.

Anyone have an idea how I can fix this?

When that happens to me, I usually need some Player update or something. But I have often thought the problem originates at the station's end. It may be coincidence, but I have struck out so many times that the only thing I care to stream daily anymore is NPR's World Cafe; I have never had a problem there.

I have a problem with youtube and streaming videos in general. It always kicks me offline. >.>

Im not using a router.

Im using AOL, IE, and firefox.

Does the same thing on all three.

For what its worth. I used to have the same problem. And it turned out to be my cable modem.
