I have noticed also. This is one of the worst times for the NFL in a long time. I know the cowboys look good now but it may be due to the rest of the league sucking.
Sixteen of the 32 NFL teams are averaging fewer than 20 points per game this season.
Wow.

Unfortunately. No offense.
But I was sure hoping for a dismal season again, seeing how Dallas owns Cleveland's first rounder next year.
Looks like they've found themselves a QB though.
Expansion and the salary cap has killed this league.
I think idiots like Al Davis trading Randy Moss to the Patriots for a 4th rounder is what kills the league. Guys like that up teams that have a chance at being good, while making already good teams, even better.
I think everyone is riding the Pats jock so much, that everyone else in the league is overlooked quite a bit. It will be sad for those bandwagoners when the Pats lose to the Colts in the AFC championship game.
Tied with the Herschel Walker trade as the Greatest Trade Ever.
Not only that, but The Patriots have the 49ers 1st rounder next year, and that's looking more and more like a top 3 pick. McFadden!
they are atrocious.
Question....the first rounder that Goodell's taking away from NE...is it NE's pick or the one they picked up from SF?
it's New England's pick. and before stretch or TSA or JT whine about that, remember that nobody knew SF would be this bad, and alot of people actually expected them to be pretty good.
I never planned on whining about it, although I doubt they will be able to get McFadden. There is still the Dolphins, Rams, Jets, Falcons, and Raiders to contest with.
As of today it's a top-5 pick. They could easily make a move to get McFadden if they wanted to. I'd really rather get LB/DB help and just roll with Maroney......but McFadden could be a special player of the Peterson or Tomlinson mold and you can't pass that up if you have a shot at it.
take d-mac, trade maroney for defensive help or another high draft pick.
What would I whine about?
Your team got caught cheating, they were punished, end of story.

I see the Patriots trading down to acquire more late round talent.
Has anybody noticed that Jim Halpert is starting at Quarterback for the New York Giants?

Past history would indicate that they'll be trading down, possibly more than once, to acquire more picks.
I don't see the Pats staying in the top 10.
Compared to the Patriots they all suck. Patriots and Tom Leykis #1, the rest don't matter much.
The Browns better start sucking. We gave Brady effin Quinn to their punkasses for their 1st rounder.
well when was the last time the Patriots had top 10 position? New England actually has a pretty good history of using their highest pick in the first round and not trading down.
Also, nobody saw them aggressively going after free agents and trading for guys like Randy Moss. The NFL has changed and so has the Patriot philosophy. They're always a step ahead of the rest of the league, that's why they succeed.
IMO, I don't think the Patriots would want to give that much in guaranteed money to an unproven player. It goes against everything they are.
Overall, the league in general has been mediocre save for three-four teams.
Been a very boring season to date.
