I believe someone should make a movie about one of our presidents....Andrew Jackson!!! the man was a pimp!!! stole a married woman, and was in the most duels ever.....and the way he fought those duels...he knew he was a bad shot so he would let the other guy shoot him and then he would take his time and kill that dude .....insane!!!

Actually there is a movie about Andrew Jackson. It's called "The President's Lady" and it starred Charlton Heston. From around 1950 I believe.

Andrew Jackson was the first President to have a kegger at the White House after he was sworn in.
People got so drunk that the ransacked the White House and there were all sorts of fist fights.
The legend of the kegger only served to endear him to the common man even more.

He was completely irrational when handling rumors about his wife. He threatned to kill those who spread said rumors.
He's also the guy who made "The Trail of Tears" happen.
Oh yea, he was also Sam Houston's mentor.
Despite a Supreme Court ruling, no less. He's really an incredible character in history. He's the only president to have completely paid off the federal debt, I think.

Nah, this is a better idea: I think we should use genetics to clone and revive him, torture him to death, over the course of ten years, then revive him and do it again. Then do it again. The man had no honor, and did not deserve to represent our country in any way, much less breathe air.

to conclude, this is a movie that demands to be made. ....would be way better than another one fondling the balls of abe lincoln, the musharaf of the 19th century
What you, and so many others, fail to realize is that the Battle of New Orleans was the most unimportant battle of the War of 1812. As a matter of fact, it was fought after the war was over.
The Treaty of Ghent was signed on December of 1814. The Battle of New Orleans was fought in January of 1815. That battle had no effect on the outcome of the war.
It was all bull .
Right so that makes it completely valid to over an entire civilization by breaking treaties, slaughtering them, and forcing them to starve themselves to death on a long relocation trek across the country.

andrew jackson deserves a movie to be made about him a great movie, he was a great president, with no fear, and full of vengence....the man is a hero !!!
