Same reason people haven't figured out that Ginobili goes left.
GS has that figured out but time and time again I see Dirk going left when guarded by duncan, oberto or Elson. I mean force him to his right and make him take a shot he's not comfortable with. Anyway, Dallas played amazing last night, their offense was just so sharp and our offense (esp finley and parker) not so much. We just need another player like manu who is a slasher, too many players staying outside not enough drives.
Same reason people haven't figured out that Ginobili goes left.
Manu made an off-balance, in-traffic, finger-roll last night, RIGHT-HANDED!
I blinked but the re-play showed it clearly.
Mark the date. The shot deserves an animate .gif!
They don't need any other players they just need the ones they have to make their shots.
There were 5 or 6 point blank layups that the Spurs missed and Finley and Bonner were throwing bricks at the goal all night.
You're not going to beat the Mavs shooting like that and you can't always ask Manu and Tim to bail you out.
It depends on what side of the floor Dirk is on. If he is on the right side and wants to go left, toward the middle, the Spurs defend against that. They will try to force him "right" toward the baseline. Dirk knows that, but he can score from just about anywhere.
Same reasons we haven't figured out how to knock down those pesky freethrows.
That would be nice.We just need another player like manu
I wouldn´t panic like many poster here are right now.
First of all:Parker played one of his worst games in the last two seasons(that wont happen too often)
And sencondly:they shooted a 52 % FG. and at the half they were somewhere around 65 % or more from the Field Goal.
I mean:they won't shoot with the same % all the time, and TP won't play that bad again.
Let's move on guys, tonight there are some business to take care of.
