So, by today, you mean . . . Monday?

I had an interview yesterday. They indicated that they hope to have the position filled by Dec. 3 (meaning 2 weeks notice would have to be given Monday). They asked me if that would be possible if they offered me the position that afternoon or today.

I had another interview for a different job today. From learning about the job to interview was . . . 1 week exactly. They told me they would make a decision today and let me know today.

So . . .

why hasn't anyone called yet?

This is ing nerve-wracking. I need a new job desperately and I felt really good about both. If one doesn't offer it to me, that would make the decision much easier. But I'd really like to know today what the decisions are, so that I can think it over this weekend, as needed. I really don't want to agonize all weekend, because the past week has been not so good.



I really hope it's not that neither of them want me.

Never mind. I got a call with an offer, that is way better than I hoped for. So celebration time!

Thank you! I wish the other place could match, because, while this is a terrific opportunity, I kinda wanted the other job more. Of course, I had no idea they would offer so much.

I can't begin to fathom how this happened - they called me a week ago to ask if I might be interested in a complete career change, and here we are now.

I keep grinning and then shaking.
